The SurgeONE.ai Cyber Compliance > Device Statistics help page empowers users with a comprehensive dashboard that visualizes the security status of all active devices in real time. By listing detailed device-level data, it enables quick identification of compliance gaps - whether due to antivirus, encryption, or OS vulnerabilities, etc., so teams can proactively manage threats. This holistic view streamlines decision-making, supports audit readiness, and ensures that IT and cybersecurity teams stay on top of evolving risks with actionable insights into endpoint health.
The accessibility and functionalities of the different sections of this page are dependant on the role based access controls / permissions set for the logged-in user. For more details refer to the Roles online help.
1. Navigating to the Device Statistics page
Click on the Cyber Compliance (or the Track Cyber) menu option of the left panel menu and to find the expanded sub-menu under it labeled as Device Statistics is already selected, which redirects you to the Device Statistics page. You may also click on this menu option to reload the page.

2. Understanding the various elements of User Device Detail(s) of the Device Statistics page
Refer to the following screenshot which is marked with numerical values that correspond to the below stated points.

- My Device(s) button to navigate to the My Device(s) screen
- Refresh icon
- Enrollment Status stats card
- Device Status & OS Distribution stats card
- Operating System Distribution visualization section of the above card

- Issue Summary visualization card
- Grid view column to display information about all the devices (which can also be toggled to display workstation or mobile-specific data)

2.1. Using the My Device(s) button
Click on this My Device(s) button to navigate to the My Device(s) screen. The following image displays the redirected view.

When you hover you mouse pointer over the My Device(s) button, the following tooltip gets revealed.

NOTE: The functionalities of this My Device(s) page is explained in this section.
2.2. Using the Refresh icon
Click on refresh icon to remove any entered search bar query text (in the grid view below) and reset it to the default state. After you click on it, the grid view gets repopulated with the latest entries. The icon facilitates a seamless return to an unfiltered and up-to-date interface through the prompt clearance of search input, accompanied by the immediate refresh of the grid view with the most recent data.

2.3. Viewing the Enrollment Status card
Presenting the enrollment status in a concise card format gives users an immediate snapshot of engagement levels, showing totals or percentages for enrolled, invited, and not invited users. This quick overview helps the users to monitor progress, identify gaps, and make informed decisions without needing to delve into detailed reports.
The following image displays the Enrollment Status card statistics.

The following information are displayed in the card by default.
- Total Users - Displays the total number of users associated with device monitoring
- Enrolled - Displays the total number of users who have successfully registered their devices
- Invited - Displays the total number of users who have been sent enrollment invitations
- Not Invited - Displays the total number of users who are yet to receive any enrollment invitation
NOTE:
- The following tooltip gets displayed when you hover your mouse pointer on the provided info icon.
- Understanding the mouse hover mechanism on the statistics/numbers:
- Hover your mouse pointer over the Enrolled section within the card to reveal the associated percentage value instead of the number.
- Hover your mouse pointer over the Invited section within the card to reveal the associated percentage value instead of the number.
- Hover your mouse pointer over the Not Invited section within the card to reveal the associated percentage value instead of the number.
- Understanding the mouse click mechanism on the statistics/numbers:
- Click on the Total Users section within the card to display a grid view of all the related entries.
- Click on the Enrolled section within the card to display a grid view of all the related entries. The data of the Invited column can be comprised of both green colored ticks and red colored cross icons, while the data of the Enrolled column red colored cross iconsgreen colored tick icons.
- Click on the Invited section within the card to display a grid view of all the related entries. Notice that the data of the Invited column is comprised of only green colored tick icons.
- Click on the Not Invited section within the card to display a grid view of all the related entries. Notice that the data of the Invited column is comprised of only red colored cross icons. Since these users are not invited yet, the Enrolled column is also comprised of only red colored cross icons.
- Understanding other associated functionalities of this grid view page:
- Use the search bar to enter text and filter matching result(s) of the grid view.
- Click on the status selection dropdown to filter grid view result(s) according to the chosen status.
- Click on the Export to download a local copy (of a .csv format excel file) comprised on the grid view result(s).
- Click on the Bulk Invite button to send user invitations in bulk. The following image displays the modal window which loads for the selection of uninvited user(s).
- You can use the search bar and the Email Template selection dropdown to filter the list of displayed user(s).
- Click on the checkbox displayed at the left of any listed user in the modal window to enable the Send button. Multi-selection of the checkboxes against displayed users is permitted. Clicking on this Send button triggers the mail invitation to the registered email address of the selected user(s).
- Click on the collapse view icon at the right side of the Export button to exit from this full-page grid view and navigate back to the Device Statistics page.
- Pagination options are provided at the bottom. Use the Rows per page dropdown or the Prev / Next button at the bottom to navigate through multiple pages when adequate grid view records are present.
- You can click on any column header to change the order of displayed results, such as ascending or descending order.
- You can also drag your mouse pointer from the right border of a column header to alter the displayed column width.

2.4. Viewing the Device Status & OS Distribution card
This card provides a quick snapshot of organizational device health and compliance. It highlights the total number of active devices and clearly separates those that pass or fail required security checks. By surfacing non-compliance drivers such as missing antivirus, OS issues, or lack of disk encryption - it helps teams swiftly identify risks, focus remediation efforts, and ensure stronger endpoint protection across both workstations and mobile devices.
The following information are displayed in the card by default.
- Total Devices - Displays the total count of devices of users
- Pass - Displays the count of devices that meet all required security compliance checks
- Fail - Displays the count of total devices which have failed the required security checks
- For Workstations: Marked as failed if any of the following are non-compliant - Antivirus, Disk Encryption, or Operating System
- For Mobiles: Marked as failed if Disk Encryption is non-compliant

2.5. Viewing the Operating System Distribution section of the same card
The OS Distribution section shows the various operating systems which run the devices of your users. Visualized in sleek bars, you can hover or click to explore devices by that particular OS. This is great for quick insights, upgrade planning, and spotting compatibility gaps. Hover your mouse pointer over the horizontal bar charts for quick counts and click to deep dive into categorized grid view results.
The card displays the distribution of the various operating systems of the different user devices. Each detected operating system is represented in the form of a bar chart. There can be various categories such as the following:
- macOS Ventura
- macOS Sequoia
- macOS Sonoma
- macOS Monterey
- iOS
- Android
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows 7
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
A sample illustration is provided via the below image. Whenever any bar chart is displayed, you can hover your mouse pointer to load the associated pop-up view which shows the OS category and its count of presence in the user devices.

NOTE: You can click on any depicted bar chart to navigate to a grid view display of the related entries. For example, if you click on the ''Mac'' bar chart, then the navigated page displays a grid view of all the user devices which have Mac OS running it.
Here is the view of the redirected page when you click on the ''Windows 10'' bar chart. As indicated in the below image, the search filter is set to ''Windows 10'' and the OS column only displays ''Windows 10'' value.

2.6. Viewing the Number of Installation(s) per Week vs Invite(s) Sent card
The Number of Installation(s) per Week vs Invite(s) Sent card helps users understand how outreach efforts translate into actual app installs over a five-week period. By comparing weekly invites and installations side by side, users can quickly assess difference in trends and spot anomalies.
A trend analysis of installations gets displayed in this card (if installations have occured or have been performed). The following image displays the Number of Installation(s) per Week vs Invite(s) Sent card with a sample visualization.

There are a total of five weeks data plotted in the trend visualization. The following image displays the tooltip which loads on mouse hover over the trend depiction. Information pertaining to installations and invites of that week is visible in the tooltip.

2.7. Viewing the Issue Summary card
The following information are displayed in the card in the form of bar charts when adequate dataset is present, with the total count or instances of its respectives failures at the right side of the associated bar chart.
- Antivirus
- Disk Encryption
- Operating System

- The following tooltip gets displayed when you hover your mouse pointer on the provided info icon.
- If no issues are found, then this visualization can be displayed as blank.
- An associated grid view page loads after you click on any of the displayed bar chart. Here is a sample view of records related to failure of Disc Encryption, which load after you click on the bar chart labeled as Disc Encryption.
- Similarly, if you click on the top-right Active Issues tag of the card, then the following grid view page loads related to records of active issues. Here is one such sample view.

2.8. Understanding the grid view
A grid view encompassing columns such as User Name, Rep Number, Profile Name, Operating System, and a comprehensive set of compliance indicators serves as a vital instrument for monitoring device security and user identity. By integrating identifiable information with real-time technical metrics - such as antivirus status, disk encryption, service pack validation, and supported operating system status - organizations are equipped to efficiently detect vulnerabilities, enforce compliance standards, and initiate timely corrective measures. The inclusion of color-coded indicators enhances visual clarity, while details such as Source Tool and last updated Date reinforce data provenance and accountability. Overall, this grid view represents a foundational element in the maintenance of cybersecurity and operational integrity.

2.8.1. Search bar
The ability to search across multiple columns greatly enhances the accuracy and efficiency of data queries, allowing users to precisely identify relevant information.
You can use the search bar to enter text and find matching records. The search query can be executed on the basis of either the User Name or theRep Number. After search operation is executed on the basis of either one of these two columns' data, matching results are listed out in the grid view. Here is the view of search operation executed on the basis of the Rep Number column data.

If results are not found based on the search query, the grid displays the No matching records found label.

2.8.2. Grid view
The following columns are present in the grid view when the All Devices tab view is set by default.
- User Name - Displays the full name of the user, or the name which was provided at the time of user enrollment/registration
- Rep Number - Displays the unique REFERENCE ID value which was provided at the time of user creation/registration
- Profile Name - Displays the device host name of the user's device
- OS - Displays the current operating system which is running the user's device
- Antivirus - Displays the current status of installed antivirus application/software. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following three color-coded labels - N.A. (in black font color), Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).
- Disk Encryption - Displays whether hardware is encrypted of the user's device. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following two color-coded labels - Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).

2.8.3. Using the All Devices, Workstation and Mobile tab options
In a structured grid view interface, the tab options All Devices, Workstation, and Mobile are prominently positioned at the top-center of the tabular display area. This layout facilitates seamless navigation and categorization, enabling users to filter device data based on type with precision and efficiency. By segmenting the dataset in this manner, the interface supports streamlined access to relevant information, promotes user-centric interaction, and enhances the overall effectiveness of device monitoring and management processes.
The tab options All Devices, Workstation and Mobile are displayed at the top-middle of the grid view. The following sub-sections explain the functionality of each of these.

2.8.3.1. Using the All Devices tab option
By default, the All Devices tab option is selected in the grid view. Clicking on the All Devices tab option displays the full-page grid view, just like the one displayed in the following screenshot.

The following columns are present in the grid view when the All Devices tab view is set by default.
- User Name - Displays the full name of the user, or the name which was provided at the time of user enrollment/registration
- Rep Number - Displays the unique REFERENCE ID value which was provided at the time of user creation/registration

- OS - Displays the current operating system which is running the user' device

- The All dropdown is present only when the All Devices tab view is set. It disappears when any one of the other two tab views is set.
2.8.3.2. Using the Workstation tab option
Click on the Workstation tab option to display only records associated with workstations (laptop or desktop, with no mobile device) in the grid view.

The same columns are present in the grid view when the Workstation tab view is set.
- User Name - Displays the full name of the user, or the name which was provided at the time of user enrollment/registration
- Rep Number - Displays the unique REFERENCE ID value which was provided at the time of user creation/registration

- OS - Displays the current operating system which is running the user' device

- Source Tool - Displays the tool or application from which the captured data originated from, for example - Belarc
NOTE:
- All the columns are sortable and the width of each column can be altered by the user who can access this Device Statistics screen.
- If you click on the Workstation tab option when the grid view is not in expanded (default) state, the grid expands to the full screen view.
2.8.3.3. Using the Mobile tab option
Click on the Mobile tab option to display only records associated with mobile devices (no workstations) in the grid view.

The following columns are present in the grid view when the Mobile tab view is set.
- User Name - Displays the full name of the user, or the name which was provided at the time of user enrollment/registration
- Rep Number - Displays the unique REFERENCE ID value (or email address) which was provided at the time of user creation/registration
- Profile Name - Displays the host name of the user's mobile
- OS - Displays the current operating system which is running the user's mobile
- Disk Encryption - Displays whether hardware is encrypted of the user's mobile. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following two color-coded labels - Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).
- OS Upto Date - Displays whether the OS version is the latest version or not. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following two color-coded labels - Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).
- Source Tool - Displays the tool or application from which the captured mobile data originated from, for example - SurgeONE
NOTE:
- All the columns are sortable and the width of each column can be altered by the user who can access this Device Statistics screen.
- If you click on the Mobile tab option when the grid view is not in expanded (default) state, the grid expands to the full screen view.
2.8.4. Using the Include Reports To checkbox
Select the Include Reports To checkbox to display the supervisors of the users in the grid view. The checkbox indicates the reporting manager or supervisor for the user. After you select the checkbox, an additional Reports To column loads at the right side of the grid view.

The same functionality is present in an expanded grid view (irrespective of the tab option selection - All Devices, Workstation or Mobile).

The column disappears if the checkbox is deselected.
2.8.5. Using the Export button
The export functionality reflects key user values such as accessibility and efficiency.
Click on the Export button to download a local copy of the displayed records in an Excel file (.csv format). The file is titled as 'user-device-report'.

2.8.6. Using the Expand icon
Click on the expand view icon once to expand the grid view to a full page view.

3.1. Using the User Device Details(s) button
You can click on the User Device Details(s) button to redirect back to the Device Statistics screen.
3.2. Using the Add Device button
To add a new device associated with self, perform the following steps:
- Click on the Add Device button.
- The following modal window loads. Provide the details of your device in the text input area (with the placeholder Type your message...), which is to be added.
- After details are provided, click on the Send button to route the provided details to the admin.
- A success tooptip is visible above the Send button after the details are sent.

3.3. Using the Help button
Click on the Help button to load the Help modal window.

3.4. Viewing the grid records
The grid view columns display information about all the devices which are mapped to the logged-in user.

The following columns are present:
- PROFILE NAME - Displays the host name or device name of the user-specific device(s)
- PROFILE DATE - Displays the date of initial fetching of user-specific device(s) details
- ANTIVIRUS - Displays the current status of installed antivirus application/software. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following three color-coded labels - N.A. (in black font color), Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).
- DISK ENCYRPTION - Displays whether hardware is encrypted of the user's device. The status can be displayed as either one out of the following two color-coded labels - Pass (in green font color) or Fail (in red font color).
- OS BASE VERSION - Displays the name of the operating system of the user-specific device(s)
- LATEST SECURE VERSION - Displays the latest secure version of the operating system
- REPORT DATE - Displays the date when device details were fetched into SurgeONE
When you move your mouse pointer over any row entry, two icons are visible at the right side of the grid view.

3.5. Using the Delete Device icon
You cannot delete a mapped device directly. However, you can raise a deletion request to the admin. To do so, perform the following steps:
- Hover your mouse pointer over a grid view row entry to reveal the Delete Device icon and then click on that icon.
- The following Delete Device modal window loads. Provide the details or explanation of why your mapped device is to be deleted, in the text input area (with the placeholder Type your message...).
- After details are provided, click on the Send button to route the provided details to the admin.
- A success tooptip is visible above the Send button after the details are sent.

3.6. Using the Help icon
Hover your mouse pointer over a grid view row entry to reveal the Help Me Fix It icon and then click on that icon.

The following Help Me Fix It modal window loads to display the support contact number and URL for reference - to respectively reach out to the respective personnel or to refer to any relevant documentation.

3.7. Using the Navigation options
Pagination options are provided at the bottom. Use the left / right arrow icons (or the page numbers) at the bottom-right to navigate through multiple pages when adequate grid view records are present.
